In Ashwaubenon, Green Bay, the community is gearing up for the start of the football season. Fans of the Packers gather near Lambeau Field to paint the fence, a historic landmark in the town. This tradition is a way for the community to show their support for the team. Each stroke of paint holds significance for those who participate, whether they are first-time painters or seasoned veterans. This year’s fence slogan, “The New Pack is A Love Affair,” pays tribute to Jordan Love, the team’s new quarterback.
The slogan was created by Dotty Harrsch, the owner of the fence and the house behind it, along with her family and friends. Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy joined in painting the fence and expressed his appreciation for the special connection between fans and the organization. Murphy also praised Jordan Love’s handling of the pressure as he takes on his role as quarterback. The community hopes that their positive energy will have a positive impact on the team’s upcoming season.
